Some roads are not meant to be travelled!

Why are we always keen on travelling on roads which we know are not the correct ones at that moment of time. Why does something starts looking gorgeous as soon as we know that we can’t have it? This craving is not limited to stuff or food but people too.
Have you ever been in a situation where you really liked a person but you can’t take things ahead as circumstances doesn’t allow you to. Maybe because that person is already in relationship with your mate, or doesn’t want to be in a relationship. or Maybe because you are bound to a commitment which is stopping you to go ahead. Whatever might be the reason, it sucks!
To make it worst, your ‘Curious’ mind will make you think ‘what if’ in spite of all the circumstances, I would have gone ahead? We will never know that unless we do travel on that road. But maybe some roads are not meant to be travelled.

  1. 15 years, that’s a long time dear. I understand how it must have felt. I believe that whatever happens in life, happens for good. And of course you deserve better than that. I am glad to know that you could relate to what i felt. Thanks 🙂

  2. HI Saneh, I like reading your posts. This one, I think it’s human nature to like what is difficult to have or tabu. For some it becomes a challenge. It’s kind of like our parents telling us, or trying to over protect us, saying, we shouldn’t do this, or that and what do we do, just the thing they asked us not to do. Or there is the other situation regarding the boyfriend or girlfriend who feels overwhelmed if we cling to them. It’s our fear and insecurity that can chase something away. Just as we get overwhelmed if someone clings too closely to us. Yet, as we get older, and less needy, we draw people closer to us, because we are confident, not so needy so don’t cling closely to people, we are more at peace, more confident in ourselves, less likely to go down that path, we shouldn’t….this just comes with experience, trial and error and learning from experience.
