Will it ever?

It’s my caste which matters

more than my knowledge

I am not getting the best

as I am of different caste than rest

How is this fair?

For me, discrimination is not rare

Born a Brahmin was my fate

Being deprived of opportunities is mandate

When will this inequality end?

Will it ever?

The light

Let this glow be part of you,

be enlightened of greater good

To know of hidden knowledge behind

few disappointments in mind

Let this celebration be the one

which fulfils your wish for prosperity

Let it bring you delight

Embrace the glorious light

Beat that demon inside you

For this is the day I believe,

you have the power to do so

Achieve the gift of truth to grow

Below the dark twinkling sky,

you can win the battles you pick

Against the odd

Cherish the joy which connects you to god.

Oh Mother, please take me back

This world is not
how you told me it would be.
I am stuck in black rot,
demons here are on killing spree.

I dreamed of living under trees
and bath with morning dew.
Where is that soothing breeze,
All I see is a derogatory view.

My eyes have started hurting
since the day I am out,
my unconscious is inserting
ferocious thoughts, beyond any doubt.

My only heaven was inside of you
where I get fed when you eat.
With your love I grew,
your essence made me complete.

Why did you let me develop?
In this social disease, I will doom,
place me in your love’s envelop,
Oh Mother, please take me back in your womb.

I thank you to leave

We were not destined to be together
as you are fire
and me being ice,
disaster is what our combination would acquire.
I thank you to leave.

If you wouldn’t have departed,
I would still have been encircled.
you were stringent,
“grave of our love is now wholeheartedly marbled”.
I thank you to leave.

Everything happens for good, it made me believe.
Dear, I thank you to leave.

Dear Eiffel

Eiffel

Breathtaking is your view
as you shine so bright,
I miss seeing you
in day and in night.

Thank you Yusra @ Seeking Sincerity for 5P5S (5 pictures 5 stories/poems) challenge. This is my first picture and a really short poem (I hope length of poem is not one of the rules of this challenge, otherwise I will fail miserably 😀 😀 )
